Prohibitions:
1. Access to the canyon is prohibited without payment of the fee set by the administrator, displayed at the Seven Ladders Hut.
2. It is prohibited to enter the canyon outside the displayed working hours, at night, during the winter period (December – February), when the canyon is closed, in bad weather (heavy rains, storms, etc.), or whenever the administrator determines this.
3. It is prohibited to enter the canyon with equipment unsuitable for mountain trails (boots, jackets, etc. are required).
4. Minors are not allowed in the canyon without an adult companion.
5. Children under 7 years old and adult companions are not allowed in the canyon without safety and protection equipment (safety harnesses and helmets) which can be rented from the Seven Ladders hut.
6. It is prohibited to enter the canyon with hand luggage or other objects that may occupy the hands and thus disturb the ascent and the safety of the tourists.
7. It is prohibited to cross the canyon from upstream to downstream (top to bottom). In this case, use the detour trail marked with a red dot (duration: approx. 10-15 min).
8. It is prohibited to block the passage through the canyon by tourists wishing to take photographs.
9. It is strictly prohibited for people under the influence of alcoholic beverages, narcotic substances, or those undergoing medical treatment with psychotropic substances or other substances that affect the ability to move and orient themselves to access the canyon.
Obligations:
1. Tourists are required to read, understand and follow the regulations for crossing the Seven Ladders Canyon.
2. Only one person may climb the ladders at a time, except for adults accompanying minors who must climb immediately behind them.
3. A maximum of 10 people will be allowed to stay on the bridges connecting the ladders, thus avoiding overloading.
4. Overweight people, people in poor physical condition, people suffering from altitude sickness, and children under 14 years of age must wear safety and protection equipment (safety harnesses and helmets) which can be rented from the Seven Ladders hut at their request.
5. The leaders of organized groups are directly responsible for the actions of the people in the groups they lead.
Warnings:
1. There is no GSM phone signal in the canyon.
2. There is a danger of falling rocks from the slopes in the canyon.
3. There is permanently very high humidity generated by waterfalls in the canyon so the use of electrically operated devices may be affected.
4. In the canyon, due to the height of the slopes and the fact that they are very close together, claustrophobia or altitude sickness can occur.
5. In the event of an accident, the SALVAMONT public service should be called urgently at number 112 or 0728266668 (0-SALVAMONT) and the Seven Ladders hut at 0746772274.
Recommendations:
1. Even adults should wear a helmet in the canyon.
2. In the canyon, the average temperature in summer is approx. 10-15°C, lower than the ambient temperature so appropriate clothing is recommended to avoid thermal shock.
